1. Team Introduction

 The team was formed by sharing the awareness that there was not enough public space for people from various backgrounds to share their opinions and stories. Focusing on 'diversity', the Tea Talk was devised to provide an opportunity for several people to meet. Our team aims to create a place where participants can freely exchange opinions from simple topics to pending issues in a stable and comfortable atmosphere while drinking tea. Our team's motto of diversity can also be confirmed in the composition of team members, and the nationality and language of the team members are different.

 

2. Tea-Talk Project

 

2.1. Project Name: Tea-Talk(&Collaboration with FCD team ; Food diversity Festival)

 

2.2. Project Goals :

- To host an event in collaboration with FCD team that will help participants achieve and experience food diversity

- To understand each other’s cultures and break down stereotypes through various foods

         - Experience a variety of teas from around the world through tea ceremony

- In order to feel the differences and commonalities of culture while tasting various teas from countries belonging to the tea culture

         - Small talk with diverse members while enjoying diverse foods and teas

         - Promote food diversity among SNU members.

             - Share each other’s unique experience and backgrounds through the festival

             - To gain the experience of meeting and talking to various language speakers

- To understand each other in terms of difference, not right or wrong(To understand the eating habits of people in Islamic culture while eating halal food)

 

2.3. Project Plan

    - When: 2023.11.23 at 10:00 AM to 17:00 PM

    - Where: SNUSR Building Global Commit (Bldg. 153)

- How: Collaboration booth with FCD team. Halal food and tea were served to. participants using a long table on the first floor of the SNSR building. In addition to halal food, Indonesian snacks were separately provided so that participants could enjoy various foods. It provided several small tables for conversations for participants who wanted to talk to various people while drinking tea separately. There is no separate time for participation here, so an environment where participants can freely talk was prepared.
