Introduction of the SNU Diversity Council at the Spring 2018 OIA Welcome Party for New International Faculty

The SNU Diversity Council helped greet new international members of the university community by participating in the latest welcome party for new international faculty, an event that is hosted each semester by the Office of International Affairs (OIA). The party, which welcomed faculty members who began teaching during the Spring 2018 semester, was held on Mar. 26 in the OIA’s lobby.

According to the “SNU Diversity Report 2016”, there were 110 tenure-track international faculty members employed at the university in October 2016, a number that represents 5.2% of all tenure track faculty. Tenure-track international faculty members are spread evenly through the university’s colleges, and they come from 22 different countries.
