Diversity Council is an organization designed to create a warm university in which all members respect one another. We are looking for Diversity Pioneers to participate in the planning and operation of programs that will contribute to the cultural spread of respect on campus.
| Recruitment Outline |
● Application Procedure: ① Submit your application by email to diversity@snu.ac.kr on or before September 8 (Sun); ② After application review, qualified applicants will be contacted individually on September 10 (Tue).
● Application Field: Activity Team (16 people), PR Team (4 people)
● Qualifications: ① A strong sense of responsibility and commitment to complete 40 hours of internship; ② Demonstrated desire to achieve personal growth through internship experience; ③ Willingness to participate in activities to make a better society; ④ Applicants for the PR Team should be proficient in creating SNS contents.
● Position is open to all students; undergraduate/graduate, in school/leave of absence/course-completion.
● You may apply as individual or a team. (Up to two people can apply as one team)
| Activity Outline |
● Activities:
○ Communal Activities (Approx. 20 hours): Orientation and diversity education; presentation and discussion of plans for self-directed activities; participation in two seminars (of your choice) regarding diversity on campus and writing a report; presentation of results and discussion
○ Activity Team Self-directed Activities (Approx. 20 hours): Establishing and implementing a diversity promotion activity plan under the theme ‘Breaking Down Barriers between SNU Students’
○ PR Team self-directed activities (Approx. 20 hours): Planning and producing contents related to diversity
● Activity Benefits: ① Activity fund (300,000KRW/person) and souvenirs; ② Meeting room access for related activities (bldg. 152-1); ③ Certificate of completion
● Mandatory Meetings (2 times): ① September 19 (Thu) 6pm – 9pm (orientation, diversity education), ② December 19 (Thu) 6pm – 9pm (presentation of results) ※ Schedule is subject to change.
