Necessity and goals of the research

To develop indicators that offer a multifaceted assessment of SNU’s operations from a diversity standpoint, and in the long term, to have such indicators considered in the university’s overall performance evaluation. 


Policy recommendations

a. SNU Diversity Indicators

The university’s operations were divided into 14 categories, such as policy, education, and demographics, in which 34 indicators were specified. 

b. SNU Key Diversity Indicators

In order to choose a few key indicators a survey was distributed to faculty, students and staff asking them to rank the importance and the urgency of the 34 indicators mentioned above. Indicators in categories of finances, education, demographics, and satisfaction were selected.
